Medisoft Global Login

Medisoft Error:

Client who has multiple practices and when they go to set up the Global Login it is returning with this message Current Global Login User is not Global Login Administrator Administrative Functions not available.

Dibb Solutions:

This is common if one fails to check the admin box when creating the first global user... You won't be able to do another thing. You can go into the Global User tables in ARC and make that person admin or you could move the practice folders out of MEDIDATA and delete everything in it, then move the practice folders back and point Medisoft back to it and it will recreate the global data - you'll have to re-register Medisoft and all add-ons if you do this.

You used to be able to bypass gobal login by holding shift-F9 when opening Medisoft. Don't know if it works in v17 but you may want to try that first
