The Dashboard feature provides a quick method to monitor key data points such as the number of appointments, outstanding claims, etc. along with one-click access to application functions.
Dashboard is available for Medisoft Advanced and Network Professional.
After setting up a profile (basic grouping of data categories and selected settings that the application uses for monitoring), you can use the main Dashboard window for monitoring various functions. Data is not displayed until you set up and customize the Dashboard.
Setting up the Dashboard for first-time use is easy. You can complete this process, by launching the application (In Medisoft go to the Tools menu and select Administrative Dashboard).
After making a few initial choices on the Settings window that determine how data is displayed on the Dashboard, the Profile Creation Wizard will appear.
The Profile Creation Wizard provides a simple method for customizing data display and monitoring on the Dashboard for a series of categories including Logged in Users, Totals, Trending, and Warnings.
Once the setup is complete and you have created at least one profile, you can view the displayed data on the Dashboard window and if needed, click links on each panel (Logged in Users, Totals, Trending, or Warnings sections) to further examine the data in greater detail.
The Dashboard utilizes the Medisoft standard security model. Level one users have default access to the application; other levels can have access granted by a level one user via the Medisoft Security Permissions window.
