Medisoft 16 System Requirements
Medisoft Service Pack and Windows Requirements:
Make sure that you have the latest Service Pack installed for your current version of Medisoft. You can find directions and the service packs here:

ALSO:
Before attempting to install Medisoft, make SURE you have completed all the Windows Updates, especially the .NET updates. After you do all the updates, go back and check to make sure there are no more updates.
Hardware Requirments:
Medisoft Basic and Advanced (single-user)
Minimum Workstation System Requirements:
Pentium III, 500 MHz (minimum) or higher processor
500MB available hard disk space
1GB RAM
256 color display
Windows XP Professional SP3 or higher 32-Bit, Windows Vista Business SP1 or higher 32-Bit.
NOTE: 32-Bit color display or higher recommended, Windows XP Home not supported.
Recommended Workstation System Requirements:
Pentium 4, 2.6 GHz (minimum) or higher processor
1GB of available hard disk space
1GB of RAM
32-Bit color display (minimum screen display of 1024x768)
Windows Vista Business SP1 or higher 32-bit or 64-Bit, Windows 7 (Professional or Ultimate) 32-Bit or 64-Bit, Windows XP Professional SP3 or higher 32-Bit.
Medisoft Network Professional

Pentium 4, 2.6 GHz (minimum) or higher processor, 2 GB of available hard disk space, 2 GB of RAM, 16+ color display, Windows 2003 Server SP2 or higher 32-Bit or Windows 2008
Server 32-Bit or 64-Bit (Recommended).
Medisoft Clinical
Minimum System Requirements:
Medisoft Clinical 9.4 (ships with Medisoft 16)
Windows 2003 Server Standard edition SP2 or higher for the server with at least 4 GB of RAM; a second, dedicated hard drive (the second hard drive needs to be named P: and have
two folders named ppart and License which are used for installing the product)
Database Platform: c-tree Server version 7.12 - (Standard) for Windows NT/2000/XP; and Windows XP SP3 or higher 32-Bit, or Windows Vista Business SP1 or higher 32-Bit for the
client.
Also runs on Windows 2008 Server 32-Bit.
Medisoft Clinical Recommended Hardware Requirements:
NOTE: for small practices (1 to 25 users) using a single server
Single Processor: Dual core 2.0 GHz+ or Quad core 1.8GHz+, RAM: 4 GB,
System Drive: 32 GB or higher,
Data Drive: RAID-5, Network Card: 1 Gbps,
Optical Drive (DVD): Required,
Tape Backup: VXA, DLT or LTO (large enough to backup entire Medisoft Clinical folder),
Video: 1024x768,
UPS (Battery): 1500VA or higher.
